Otro impacto ambiental generalizado es el causado por el #Transporte. Ya sea a nivel particular o empresarial, es un un recurso necesario y, por tanto, debe ser considerado en cualquier actividad.
Como esta serie de artículos está orientada a particulares, aunque al mismo tiempo tiempo sirve para que las organizaciones encaucen su análisis de #HuellaEcológica y #HuellaAmbiental, se plante la necesidad de evaluar los diferentes tipos de desplazamientos que hacemos. Básicamente nos encontramos con los siguientes tipos: domicilio-trabajo-domicilio, vacaciones, compras y otros (visitas a médicos, familiares y amigos, ocio, trámites administrativos).
En la evaluación debemos considerar el número de veces y el tiempo que utilizamos los diferentes medios de transporte o bien los kilómetros realizados en cada uno de ellos. De esta forma, tendremos una valoración aproximada del consumo energético y si, lo deseamos, la estimación de gases emitidos.
