La estimación de recursos para satisfacer las necesidades a nivel global en este año, 2020, es de 1,75 planetas, a lo que hemos de añadir la subida de temperatura y niveles de contaminación de aire y el aumento incontrolado de residuos, nos indica que el actual sistema de producción y consumo es totalmente irracional e insostenible.
La búsqueda del crecimiento económico sin tener en cuenta el contexto social y medioambiental no hará otra cosa que aumentar las dimensiones del problema. Problema que debe ser atacado con otras perspectivas en las que usar y tirar, producir buscando el beneficio económico sin pensar en las necesidades reales, acumular por acumular insumos desaparezcan paulatinamente de nuestras rutinas.
Es de vital necesidad el compromiso con los ODS propuestos por la ONU y su integración en nuestros hábitos, tanto particulares como empresariales e institucionales, y transformar las estrategias de producción y consumo actuales por otras basadas en la economía circular. Para ello, existen herramientas que facilitan la adaptación a los nuevos cambios y permiten una gestión más eficiente.

It is vitally necessary to commit to the SDGs proposed by UN and integrate them into our habits, both private and business and institutional, and transform current production and consumption strategies into others based on the circular economy.
